TO EL-DAOUD

Your Book, O FATHER-KING, wakes within Remembrance, and, like lightning in the night, Brightly illumes the darkness of the soul.  Your lucent words, once set within the brain, as diamonds catch and radiate the Light which pours ever from the Flaming Heart;  So that it floods us, and shows clear both WHOSE we are and WHOM we serve.  

To You, To You, O EL-DAOUD, be fullest love and joy from us, Your Own, who mark and learn Your wonderful Truth which makes for freedom indeed.  Thanks also be to her, Your Pen, who long in loneliness has toiled Your Voice to her, and so transcribe for us whose ears are held, all deaf by the roaring voice of that well called illusion, now by You forever shattered.  If we will, we can seize with both hands the WORD You set forth, and hold it in despite doubts and fear, which, crowding thick, threaten to blot it out-- 

The mutterings of the darkness, in truth.  Brothers who read--it is left for you to choose, whether His Seed shall fall on stony ground, or rather upon that which brings forth a hundredfold.  Think well, for now my song is sung.  Good-speed! The rest is silence.
