As the story goes in the Superman universe, Granny Goodness is one of the villainous minions of the being known as Dark Side.  


Dark Side is a breathtakingly ruthless tyrant from the planet Apocalypse whose mission is to enslave the entire universe to his will using the Anti-Life equation.  He is a fearfully unforgiving overlord who rules exclusively by terror, torture and sadism.  He is said to be the "Devil" who caused the fall of mankind;  Lucifer a fallen angel and Hades the ruler of Hell in Greek Mythology.  

Dark Side generally keeps a low profile, preferring instead to send various agents and minions with a wide array of strange powers and skill to do his dirty work.  Real life analogies can be drawn from the character of Dark Side as well.

Granny Goodness is a fiercely loyal servant of the Dark Side.  

At first glance, she appears like a proper and modest women, but in reality, she is manipulative, controlling, domineering and is extremely vigorous for her age. 



Although she is a worthy physical opponent when necessary, she usually prevails against her enemies through sheer force of will.  She is very destructive and doesn't care what repercussions follow from her own actions.

Granny Goodness is most notorious as the headmistress of a chain of "orphanages" that train abandoned children to become warriors for the Dark Side.  These orphanages are thinly disguised boot camps for making monsters out of disenfranchised children.  

Her methods are a grotesque and brutal mockery of child care, using brainwashing and whatever torture can be inflicted with technology to transform her charges into fanatics eager to sacrifice all for the agenda of the Dark Side.

Her motto is: "No Mercy."

Just as Superman is an archetype of the Hero we all can aspire to, Granny Goodness is an archetype of a Villain who is prevalent in the world today . . .
